Owner Jack Slay proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, working in artillery where precision, reliability, and accountability were non-negotiable. Those same values now carry over into every board that comes out of the mill. After completing his service, Jack returned home to Paragould, Arkansas, where he married his wife, Macy, and started building a life centered around family and honest work. Together, they are raising their son, Henry, and instilling the same principles of integrity, respect, and pride in a job well done. What started as a passion for woodworking quickly turned into something bigger. Jack developed a deep appreciation for quality lumber — not just cutting wood but producing materials that people can rely on for their homes, businesses, and projects.
